You can’t teach nervous system regulation if yours is dysregulated. You can’t model healthy food psychology if you’re using emotional eating to cope. You can’t break generational trauma by repeating the same patterns your parents handed you.

Before we address food, screen, or nervous system regulation, we start with values. Because you can’t embody what you haven’t named.
Many struggling parents can’t name their core values.
 
They know they want their kids to be “good people,” but they’ve never defined what that means.

1. Know Your Values โ€“ Identify which values matter most to you (not what you were taught, not what your scrolling shows you, but what YOU believe)
 
2. Embody Your Values โ€“ Learn to regulate your nervous system and heal your relationships with food and screens and stress so you can LIVE your values instead of pacify them 
 
3. Role Model Your Values โ€“ Your kids don’t learn values from what you say. They learn from what you do. When you embody your values, they inherit them.
